Outdoor Seasonal Workers Needed in Tibro

Do you want to work outdoors, be physically active, and contribute to maintaining the high quality of Tibro's parks and green spaces throughout the summer? Then this is the job for you! We are now looking for two seasonal workers who want to support our park operations during spring, summer, and early autumn – the period when we have the most to do!

Every year, we recruit seasonal workers who are an important part of our work during the peak season. Much needs to be prepared for the summer, and during the season, there is high pressure to keep the municipality's green spaces in good condition and to carry out recurring maintenance tasks.

As a seasonal worker, you will be part of the Street and Park Unit, which is one of five units within the Community Building Administration in Tibro Municipality. We are responsible for parks, beaches, playgrounds, squares, urban nature, forest areas, and larger green spaces. With us, you will have a varied and practical job outdoors, where you and your colleagues contribute to a pleasant, safe, and well-maintained municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work consists of the maintenance and upkeep of the municipality's outdoor environments, such as:

• Weeding in plantings
• Cleaning
• Planting and caring for spring and summer flowers
• Trimming bushes and hedges
• Mowing and trimming grass
• Maintaining beaches and playgrounds
• Simple operational and maintenance tasks on park areas, benches, and squares

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working outdoors and with physical tasks
• Likes varied work assignments
• Is flexible, self-driven, and takes initiative
• Enjoys working both independently and in a team
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a B driver's license!

It is a plus if you have an interest in plants and outdoor environments. It is also advantageous if you have gardening education or previous experience in park maintenance or similar work.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. In this role, you will meet many of the municipality's residents and be one of Tibro Municipality's faces to the public. Therefore, it is important that you are service-oriented, attentive, and communicative.
